Conceived as a space for creation, this Amsterdam office was designed to feel different with each day and each change of light. The intention was to create an open-ended atmosphere within intimate proportions, a place to build new worlds rather than settle into routine.

The central intervention is architectural. A glossy ceiling in a deep, near-black brown extends down onto the walls and is finished with a moulding, redefining the proportions of the space. Through its reflection, it both holds the space and opens it up, creating a juxtaposition of enclosure and expansion.

A tonal palette brings together contrasting textures, from metals to tactile fabrics, forming a calm backdrop. Within it, sculptural art pieces and objects of clean, linear form are layered into a single composition, each element considered in relation to the whole.

Warm yet refined, it is a space made to return to, each day a little differently.
