QUIET FORMS APARTMENT
Conceived as an exploration of warmth and restraint, this Antwerp apartment balances a contemporary aesthetic with a lived-in atmosphere. The design approach focused on introducing a sense of ease and intimacy while maintaining a clear and understated visual language.
A restrained palette of oak, marble, warm brown tones, off-white surfaces, dark accents and tactile fabrics establishes a dialogue between softness and precision. Through a careful selection of sculptural objects, the interior reflects a contrast of personal history and momentos with an elevated design-forward aesthetic. The client’s personal collection of ceramics served as a point of departure for the curation and furniture selection of the space. Subtle tonal shifts and layered textures bring depth and character to the home.
The result is an interior that feels calm yet expressive, shaped through materiality and a carefully considered balance between function and feeling.
